Curator/s: Filippo Orsini - Laura Pogliani with Giovanni Gualdrini, Filippo Oppimitti, Jessika Ronchi

The issue of the suburbs is a wide-ranging theme, which invests Milan and many areas of the Metropolitan City. The School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering (AUIC) has always been a place of elaboration and design experimentation on the themes of the city. It intends to develop the trajectories of research and design exploration capable of measuring the complexity, articulation and potential of the most problematic and unresolved areas of the suburbs in the Milanese metropolitan area.

2020 The AUIC School for Milan

The Archives for Future exhibition is the first public outcome of the AUIC School's Passion in Action innovative teaching project, which involved about fifty Bachelor's and Master's degree courses and teaching laboratories in the 2018-2019 academic year. Educational and Exhibition Project is Reforming Peripheries. Milano Metropolitana and expresses its intention to deal with the Milanese 'periphery' issue by exploring 29 areas identified in the metropolitan area. External institutions have also joined this program, supported by Dastu and Polisocial, such as the Municipality of Milan, the Metropolitan City, the Order of Architects of the Province of Milan, the Triennale and the Experimental Center of Cinematography.
